The Be Bodiful newsletter, delivered often with humor and always with love, offers simple, straightforward tips and tricks on how to be bodiful, a term I coined to capture the essence of what I teach. It’s the physical equivalent of being mindful: You pay attention to how your body is moving and how it feels to move that way, and if it doesn’t feel good, you learn how to move a different way. Helping folks find peace through movement, meditation, and massage feels like the most natural work in the world to me. My mode is first and foremost the physical body, but I work with the understanding that it is a manifestation of mental, emotional, and spiritual/social states. My students learn to build rich and detailed inner sanctuaries where they can feel comfortable and easy, even beyond the container of a session.
